Erica works at the Oxford Centre for Triple Value Healthcare (3V) in England. She has a decade’s experience in using the identification of unwarranted variation to increase value in the provision and delivery of health services. She was the Editor the NHS Atlases of Variation in Healthcare since the first compendium Atlas appeared under the English Department of Health’s Quality Innovation Improvement & Prevention (QIPP) programme in 2010. Since then, Erica has overseen the writing, editing and production of three compendium atlases and six specialist atlases, covering Liver Disease, Kidney Care, Children and Young People, Diagnostic Services, Respiratory Disease and Diabetes. Erica is currently working on two projects in the National Health Service (NHS) to increase value in healthcare, one of which is focused on end-of-life care, and the other is focused on people with musculoskeletal conditions. On behalf of 3V, she will also be working on the European Union-funded ExACT Project for the next 4 years, collaborating with universities in Italy, The Netherlands, and Belgium together with other stakeholders in the healthcare sector. In addition, Erica is the lead, and also a facilitator/trainer, for the Critical Appraisal Skills Programme (CASP) run by 3V. Erica is a specialist in Health Impact Assessment (HIA) and in Health in All Policies (HiAP). Since 2003, she has worked as an expert adviser in HIA for the World Health Organization (WHO), and similarly in HiAP since 2008, and in the last few years has worked on three major projects relating to the health impacts of the construction and operation of nationally significant infrastructure for Public Health England. Erica was also part of the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) team for Public Health England (PHE) for two years. In 2005, Erica won the Individual Award in Impact Assessment from the International Association for Impact Assessment, and in the same year was made an honorary member of the English Faculty of Public Health. top

Inna has graduated from School of Social Work of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy National University in 2007 and since then her career is developing in social and humanitarian spheres. From 2007 till 2012 Inna was working in the Policy and Advocacy Department of All-Ukrainian Network of People Living with HIV, combating for ARV-treatment availability for those who needed it. In 2012 Mrs Ivanenko became one of the founders of patients based organization CF “Patients of Ukraine” and in 2018 was elected as its Executive director. CF “Patients of Ukraine” is a unique organization, uniting 50 members, who are leaders of patients organizations from 23 disease areas. Organization is a strong advocate for treatment access, anti-corruption medical procurement reform and overall healthcare reform in Ukraine, representing interests of more than 1,5 million patients with severe diseases. During full-scale war in Ukraine CF “Patients of Ukraine” is among leaders who helps to overcome Ukrainian patients and healthcare system the consequences of russian invasion. top

Stanisław Iwańczak, MSc, Plenipotentiary of the Director for Patient Safety at the Katowice Oncology Centre. Laboratory diagnostician, Graduate of the Pharmaceutical Department of Medical Analytics in Sosnowiec. In the years 1999-2018, Head of the Diagnostics Laboratory at the Katowice Oncology Centre. In the years 1995-1999, employee of the Pharmaceutical Quality Control Laboratory in Katowice. In the years 2010-2014, Deputy Disciplinary Ombudsman of the National Chamber of Laboratory Diagnosticians. Four years ago I became passionate about Patient Safety. I try to share the full scope of this discipline with others. I am constantly looking for people and institutions genuinely interested in implementing patient safety solutions in Poland and around the world. top
