Professor Stephen Campbell is Chair in Primary Care Research at The University of Manchester and until recently Director of the National Institute for Health, Greater Manchester Patient Safety Translational Research Centre. He is a health services researcher with a particular interest in the quality and patient safety of primary care and across transitional care settings including social care, with a main focus on general/family practice. He has held research appointments as Professor at the University of Melbourne, University of Canberra and the Australian National University in Australia and at the University of Heidelberg in Germany. top

John Chaplin is an Associate Professor and Psychologist working for the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR), and the Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He is the project leader for the translation and implementation of patient reported outcome measures Information System (PROMIS) into the Swedish health care system, and the Swedish health quality registries. He is supervising a research project into the development of a person-centred toolbox to aid patients in the evaluation of their health care and empower them to become co-producers of care. He has worked on Quality-Of-Life and PROM issues in national and international projects including DISABKIDS, KIDSCREEN and PROMIS. He has been Principal Investigator for European projects including the EU RESPECT project reviewing children’s needs in clinical trials research. He is currently co-chair of the International Society for Quality of Life’s Special Interest Group for Children and the PROMIS National Centre leader for Sweden. top

Grażyna Cieślak is a long-time coordinator of projects implemented in the area of health and health care, including the prevention of diabetes, colon and cervical cancer, as well as infrastructure projects introduced by public hospitals. She was responsible for administrative and financial aspects of various research and scientific projects, including “Evolvable platform for programmable nanoparticle-based cancer therapies (EVO-NANO) and “In-vivo Gene Editing by NanotransducErs (I-GENE)”. All her projects aim at determining the best value for patients. She is employed at the Gdańsk Centre for Health Promotion and Addiction Prevention and cooperates with the Polish Society for Health Programmes in Gdańsk. Grażyna Cieślak provides supervisory support to health care providers and institutions preparing and implementing health programmes. She is involved in actions advocating quality and effectiveness in the health care system, in particular in the area of lifestyle diseases. top

Justin Clark is the Research Enhancement Manager at the Institute for Evidence-Based Healthcare (IEBH). He is also the Cochrane Information Specialist for the Acute Respiratory Infections Group, a member of the Cochrane Information Specialists Executive and the Co-Lead of the search group of the Living Evidence Network. He is one of the inventors of the Two-Week Systematic Review (2weekSR) method, a founding member of the International Collaboration for the Automation of Systematic Reviews (ICASR) and currently heads up the Automation Team at the IEBH. Kathrin Cresswell (KC) is a social scientist with extensive experience of conducting formative evaluations of digitally enabled change and improvement programmes in healthcare. She has consulted for the World Health Organization, Harvard Medical School, NHS England and Improvement, and is a member of the RSE Young Academy of Scotland, has received the Yvonne Carter Award for Outstanding New Researcher, and has been an invited speaker at the European Parliament and Harvard Medical School. She has over 100 peer-reviewed publications in international academic journals and almost £30 million research grant funding. She is currently Senior Lecturer at the Usher Institute at The University of Edinburgh, Co -Director of External Engagement on an EPSRC Doctoral Training Centre for Biomedical Artificial Intelligence, and Module Lead on the NHS Digital Academy teaching over 400 national and international health information technology leaders about Technology Strategy and Health Information Systems Implementation. She is also the co-chair of the International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA) and European Federation of Medical Informatics Evaluation Working Groups, providing ready access to international networks. top
